If you already have the RealOne player installed, you
can check for updates using a feature built into the player. To assist
you in this process, you may follow the steps outlined below.

From the player's Tools menu,
click on Check for Update. The AutoUpdate window will
appear with a list of updates that can be installed. |

We recommend selecting all of the RealOne
Player critical updates; you can select other updates at your own
discretion. |

Click the Install button. The
player will stop playing any media and then download the updates.
This may take serveral minutes depending upon your Internet speed. |

The RealOne Install Wizard will
appear prompting you to choose the set-up options. Choose Express
Install if you are unsure which one to use. |

Follow the instructions through the installation
processes which will depend upon the set-up option you chose. |

Once the installation is completed, the
RealOne player will re-open for your use. |
If you do not have the RealOne player installed or have
an older version of RealPlayer, you will need to install the full program.
Before installing, first check the RealOne
system requirements to determine if your computer is capable of running
the player. If so, the free Windows version of the player can be downloaded
from the RealOne
web site.
To assist you in installing the program, RealNetworks
provides an installer to simply the process. When you first arrive to
the RealOne download page, a Security Warning window will appear
asking you to install and run the RealOne Player installer. Click
the Yes button to inititate the installation. This may take several
minutes to install depending upon the speeds of your computer and your
Internet connection. Follow the instructions to complete the process.
